Album a Day: Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing

I think the sophomore effort from New England's Killswitch Engage can easily be just shuffled away in the discography of this band, but this is a truly excellent album that I'm sure all metalheads are well aware of whether they like it or not. This is the last album to feature vocalist Jesse Leach (at least on a fulltime basis) and is worth a listen just for that (with no disrespect to Howard Jones). This is a positive album with a great flow and knows when to be heavy and went to be light. Favorite tracks include: Fixation On The Darkness, My Last Serenade, To The Sons of Man, The Element of One, Without A Name, and Rise Inside
