Album a Day: The Raveonettes - In and Out of Control

I've really enjoyed The Raveonettes for a while but this album is just absolutely top shelf. The songs are incredibly fun but certainly not frivolous. All the things that are great about The Raveonettes are just magnified on this album like great mixing of musical styles, a range of moods from somber to whimsy, and something that sounds new while making a nod to 60's pop. I highly recommend picking this up as soon as you can. Favorite tracks: Bang!, Gone Forever, Boys Who Rape (Should All Be Destroyed), D.R.U.G.S., and Breaking Into Cars
