There is no band that sounds like Los Angeles' Babyland. This was there 2004 release, the 2nd to last before their breakup and personally my favorite Babyland album. I think this album has a lot of heart and as an album works really well in that it starts in one place and ends in a very different one while spending the entire album making that transition. I particularly like the 2nd half of the CD which is a little more of the heart but the first half certainly has that electronic junk punk sound that Babyland is known for. Favorite Tracks: Past Lives, Guard Dogs, Gehry (favorite track on the album), and Lmya

Album a Day: Babyland - The Finger
